You Are of Great Value

In a church of more than 1000 people. A priest produced a $1000 dollar note. He asked church members, “who wants the note?”

Half of the member’s hands were up!

He said, “I’m going to give it to one person!”

He proceeded to fold & crumple up the note, and asked again, “who wants this money?” But still 3/4 of the member’s hands were up again.

He then said, “what if I do this?” and he dropped it on the ground and started grinding with his shoes.

He picked it and asked, “Now, who still wants it?”

He was shocked to see everybody’s hand was up.

Based on this story we realized that regardless of what was done to the money, people still wanted it because it did not decrease in value.

Therefore in our lives, it’s important to realize that whether we are crumpled, dropped, grinded on the floor, battered or wounded, we are still of great value in the eyes of God because we are made in His own image though distorted by sin. We are so valuable in God’s eyes that He sent His only begotten Son to die for our sin while we were still sinners.

Our parents may know understand everything and our best friends may not know us well. May be, the rough patch and hardships we have been going through has become heavy for us to carry. And we may have become a little imperfect in many areas of your life. It may be difficult to see the bright side of life. But we still worth and valuable in the sight of God. We still remains His special creation. And His love is never far from us. He is always waiting for us to come back to Him so that he can restore us to what

Jeremiah 1:5
“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you,

John 3:16-17
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.

Romans 5:8
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
