If A Dog Were Your Teacher!

You would learn stuff like...
When loved ones come home, always run to greet them.
Never pass up the opportunity to go for a joyride.
Allow the experience of fresh air and the wind in your face to be pure ecstasy.
When it's in your best interest, practice obedience.
Let others know when they've invaded your territory.
Take naps and stretch before rising.
Run, romp, and play daily.
Thrive on attention and let people touch you.
Avoid biting, when a simple growl will do.
On warm days, stop to lie on your back on the grass.
On hot days, drink lots of water and lay under a shady tree.
When you're happy, dance around and wag your entire body.
No matter how often you're scolded, don't buy into the guilt thing and pout - run right
back and make friends.
Delight in the simple joy of a long walk.
Eat with gusto and enthusiasm. Stop when you have had enough.
Be loyal.
Never pretend to be something you're not.
If what you want lies buried, dig until you find it.
And MOST of all...
When someone is having a bad day, be silent, sit close by and nuzzle them gently.

SPS042 - Be of Good Cheer Record Cover Front

Here are some steps that you can do to be more joyful:
Smile more. This not only bring smile to others. It can cheer you up and take away the dullness.

Count your blessings and be happy. You may not have everything that you wanted but you can be thankful for the things that you have.

Do things that makes you happy. See you are good at and what you enjoy doing. Make time for your hobbies, fellowship, relationship, fresh air and silent moment.

Do things that will make others happy. Make someone smile. Visit a friend, a dear one or someone in need. Give gifts to someone.

Develop a healthy relationship. Be in the company that is healthy. A Church is a good place to start. Make some good friends.

At all times praise God and be thankful. The Bible says so and we have every reason to be thankful. J “…give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.” (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Proverbs 17:22
A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.

Romans 12:12
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer.
