What happened when Jesus died and rose again?

It is not just a history but it is God’s power. If His death has not moved our life then we have not known Him enough. Each day would be a miracle when we know Him, for His death has brought life to our dying life.

The Christ will suffer and rise from the dead on the third day, and repentance and forgiveness of sins will be preached in his name.
Luke 24:46-47
