This movie is based on the true story of the enduring but troubled love between Lois Wilson (Ryder), co-founder of Al-Anon, and her alcoholic husband Bill Wilson (Pepper), co-founder of Alcoholics Anonymous.
In 1914, Lois Burnham, a
college-educated woman from an affluent family, met and fell in love with Bill
Wilson, a young man of modest means. They married in 1918, and after his return
from World War I, the two set out to build a life
together. While Lois worked as a nurse, Bill struggled to find his niche. Lois
believed that Bill was destined for greatness, and despite his increasing
reliance on alcohol, she showered him with love and support. Eventually, Lois
persuaded a friend’s husband to hire Bill at his financial firm. By 1927, Bill
was working on Wall Street and the couple was living a luxurious lifestyle. But
despite Lois’s valiant efforts to control his drinking, Bill’s addiction to
alcohol spiraled out-of-control. Soon his job, their lifestyle and their dreams
were all gone.

The Legend of Three Trees - Animated Christian Movie
Duration: 24 min
The Legend of The Three Trees is a timeless retelling of the classic folktale of three distinct trees, each with its own hopes, dreams and aspirations. We follow a beautiful olive tree blossoming in the valley, a knotty oak tree clinging to the shore and a strong pine standing high on the mountainside. They each dreamed of becoming great - perhaps a majestic treasure chest, or a magnificent sailing ship or maybe the tallest tree in the forest. But their dreams didn't seem to come true. Disappointed and dejected, the trees despair about their existence until they each finally interact, in their own unique ways, with Jesus Christ in His birth, ministry and ultimate sacrifice. In these experiences, they learn that God has a special purpose for each of them in His kingdom.

Brother Sun, Sister Moon

Movie Review:
Genre: Biography, Drama, History
Runtime: 135 min
Release Date: 1972
Screenplay co-written and directed by Franco Zeffirelli (Romeo And Juliet; Jesus of Nazareth) not long after he became a born-again Christian. Brother Sun, Sister Moon is an uncommonly rewarding and meaningful film experience. A real blessing, causing the viewer to examine the depth and commitment of his own walk with Christ. Zefirelli's cinematography is brilliantly beautiful throughout. The film focuses on the early years of Francis of Assisi, who renounced his family's riches and past worldly life to follow Christ in sincerity and humility, unencumbered by material possessions.
